I had such a headache the next day from no sleep. However I would not recomment SLEEP at the Boardwalk Inn. Overall, if you have a few hours to spare while in the area, sure, plan a trip to Kemah. I am not big on buffets AT ALL but this was not like normal buffet food (from Golden Corral, etc) this was nice and yummy food. We ate at the Lighthouse Buffet and OMG that was good food. I would not plan more than a few hours as even pre teens would get pretty board. I am glad we came and this might make a great side trip while in the area. We did have a good time just people watching and taking photos along the boardwalk. We took a look and passed on the adventures. The boardwalk amusment park did not seem like a big deal.we have season passes to Six Flags so I guess we expect more. A simple fix but this hotel overlooked it. ![]() It was so light, it seemed like daytime hours not the middle of the night. Maybe if the hotel invested in some curtains the light would have been dimmed a bit. We are not old, so it is not like we were in bad by 8 or 9.but my GOODNESS.since the lights on the boardwalk do not seem to go ot and that TRAIN!!!! Seems to never stop.I could not get to sleep. ![]() I loved it until it was time to go to sleep. ![]() The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel was decorated SUPER cute. We had spent the day on the beach in Galveston but decided to stay someplace different, for me, and checked in at the Boardwalk Inn on Kemah Boardwalk. I was excited to go to the Kemah Boardwalk this summer.
